Hike in Brecksville Metro Park

Date:
Sun, Aug 30, 2015 - 2:00 pm
Description:

Meet Bernice Poduch at the Brecksville Nature Center for a hike on Sunday, August 30th at 2 pm. Contact Bernice at treasurer for more information.

We will start at the Nature Center parking lot and hike along the river on a dirt path and return walking on the all-purpose trail back to the Nature Center. The hike is suitable for beginners and will be approximately 3 miles in length.

Things to bring/wear:

Water bottle
Hiking type of shoe, like a sneaker. Wear something that is ok for mud.
Walking stick is ok, if it helps going uphill.
Comfortable shorts and a cotton shirt works well for most
Some bug spray will be available, but generally it’s not needed in this area.
